  • 4 oz Dreamfields® Rotini
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon jarred minced garlic
  • 1/4 teaspoon dry sage
  • 1/4 teaspoon dry thyme
  • 1/2 cup canned pumpkin purée (not pumpkin pie filling)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons canned evaporated milk
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons crumbled bacon (approximately 2 slices microwaveable fully cooked bacon) or bacon bits
  • 10 hazelnuts toasted, chopped


  1. Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and reserve about 1/4 cup pasta water. Set aside. Keep pasta warm.
  2. Meanwhile, heat olive oil in a medium-sized skillet. Add garlic, sage, and thyme; cook for one minute until fragrant. Add pumpkin puree and cheese; stir until ingredients are fully combined. Remove from heat.
  3. Add pasta, milk, and reserved pasta water to pot with pumpkin sauce; toss to coat. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  4. Top pasta with chopped hazelnuts and crumbled bacon. Serve warm.
  5. Regular 2% milk, half and half, or favorite plant-based milk can be substituted for canned evaporated milk
