  • 1 box Dreamfields® Penne
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pound ground turkey breast
  • 1 ½ cups chopped onion
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 5 cups chopped fresh Swiss chard, stems removed
  • ½ cup reduced-sodium chicken broth
  • Juice and zest from one small navel orange
  • ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ cup chopped toasted walnuts (optional)


  1. Cook pasta according to package directions.
  2. Meanwhile, heat oil in large skillet over medium heat. Cook ground turkey, onion, garlic and orange zest until turkey is just cooked through, stirring to break up turkey.
  3. Add Swiss chard, broth, orange juice, salt and cayenne pepper. Cook about 5 - 10 minutes until Swiss chard is wilted and sauce begins to thicken, stirring occasionally.
  4. Drain pasta. Add to turkey mixture; toss and cook 3 - 5 minutes until pasta is well coated.
  5. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and walnuts, if desired.
