  • 1 box Dreamfields® Spaghetti
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons jarred minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon dry oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dry basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper
  • 1 (28 oz) jar marinara sauce
  • 2 cups chicken or vegetable broth
  • 1/2 cup dry lentils, rinsed and drained
  • Grated Parmesan, optional


  1. In large saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic, oregano, basil, and crushed red pepper; sauté for 1 minute. Add marinara, broth, and lentils. Bring to a boil, then reduce to simmer for 25-30 minutes until lentils are tender.
  2. Meanwhile, cook pasta according to package directions. Place pasta in large bowl; set aside. Top with sauce. Serve with grated Parmesan, as desired.
