Linguine with Parsley, Chives and Fresh Clams

  • 8 ounces Dreamfields Liguine or Spaghetti

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 tablespoon Gourmet Garden Garlic Stir-In Paste

  • 3 pounds fresh manila or littleneck clams scrubed

  • 1 tablespoon Gourmet Garden Lightly Dried Parsley

  • 2 teaspoons Gourmet Garden Lightly Dried Chili Pepper if desired

  • 1/2 cup white wine

  • 2 tablespoons Gourmet Garden Lightly Dried Chives


  1. Cook pasta according to package directions. Reserve 1 cup cooking liquid before draining; set aside.

  2. Meanwhile, in large skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add garlic; cook 1 minute, stirring frequently. Add clams, parsley and chili pepper; stir. Cook 2 minutes. Add wine; simmer 2 minutes. Cover and simmer about 6 minutes or until clams open. Discard any clams that do not open. Remove from heat.

  3. Add pasta, chives and reserved cooking liquid to skillet. Toss to combine. Serve immediately. Garnish with chives and additional parsley, if desired.
