  • 1 box Dreamfields Penne Rigate or Elbows
  • 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese plus 2 tablespoons, freshly grated
  • 2 tablespoons fresh thyme leaves
  • 1-1/2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chives chopped
  • 1 teaspoon lemon peel freshly grated
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • fresh thyme (optional)
  • chives (optional)
  • lemon wedges (optional)


  1. Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and return to pan. Add 1/3 cup of the cheese, thyme, oil, chives and lemon peel; toss to combine. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Serve immediately with remaining cheese. Garnish with fresh herbs and lemon wedge, if desired.
