Dreamy Creamy Asparagus Chicken Rotini

1 box Dreamfields Rotini
2 boneless, skiness chicken breasts cooked, chopped
3 tablespoons olive oil
3 cloves garlic chopped
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 cup chicken broth
1 cup half & half
1 bunch asparagus tips only
1 teaspoon sea salt
1 teaspoon basil pesto
1/2 teaspoon white pepper
2-1/2 cups Parmesan cheese shredded, divided
Cook the pasta according to the package directions. Drain and return to the pot; keep warm.
Heat the olive oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add the garlic and flour cooking and stirring for approximately 1 minute until smooth.
Slowly add the broth and the half and half to the flour mixture. Continue to stir until it thickens. (Add more flour to thicken if desired.)
Add the asparagus and chicken to the flour mixture. Stir in the salt, pesto, pepper and 2 cups of the cheese, until the cheese is melted.
Add chicken mixture to pasta; toss to coat completely.
Sprinkle with the remaining cheese before serving.
