The recipe posted for Traditional Lasagna is not correct. Following the recipe leaves one with 3 extra lasagna noodles and a skimpy lasagna (very noodle light) ..more like cheese pie.
I found it somewhat frustrating to make, as during the process of making it I thought maybe somtehing was wrong.. so I went on the internet and checked again. Your recipe calls for 12 pieces of lasagna but you only use nine. Each layer should say 4 noddles not 3. Maybe you should fix that.
I found the recipe on the box to be correct.

Thanks very much for your comment. You are right, the recipe on the back of our Lasagna box is the correct one to use. This has been updated on the site. Thanks!
If you boil the noodles, and then bake the dish for 45 min. at 375*, won’t that overcook the noodles. I’ve heard that overcooking dreamfields noodles will mess up the low carb aspects of the noodles.
Is bella vita low carb pasta sauce ok for this recipe??
We haven’t tested this recipe with Bella Vita sauces, but it should be OK.
We have tested the lasagna when prepared as directed on the package and the noodles do maintain their 5 grams of digestible carbs. When testing lasagna, we first test the noodles prepared in water alone as directed on the package, and then again after cooking as described in the recipe provided on the package. The post- baking test is to determine if the sauce and baking make a difference to the digestible carbs, but this testing is done on the noodles only. We strip the sauce and cheese from the noodles before testing. Our testing shows the lasagna noodles do stay at or below the 5 grams of digestible carbs when cooked and tested in this manner.
Thanks for your inquiry!
I made the recipe on the back of the lasagna box last week. My daughter who has a very picky palate saw us eating it and had a taste. She wanted to know where I ordered the lasagna from. It was so good, she thought it was restaurant food. The only thing I changed was that instead of meat I used Morningstar Veggie crumbles. It was great. Thankyou so much for your wonderful pasta and recipe.
