Forget
about going out for your favorite Asian cuisine. In about 30
minutes you can stir up delicious Chinese-style dishes at
home that rival even the best restaurants…and are
healthier, too!
The secret to a successful stir fry is having everything
cut and prepped before you start sautéing. Start
with the vegetables – you can use whatever you have
on hand, and it’s always good to use whichever are
the freshest and currently in season. Next choose your
favorite meat, sliced or cubed, and heat an oiled pan to
a high temperature. To keep veggies crisp, cook them and
your meat separately in small batches. Once everything
is cooked, add back to the pan for a quick warm up.

Dreamfields
Pasta is an easy substitute to any Asian noodle or rice and helps
reduce the glycemic impact of the recipe too. A
quick toss of al dente cooked Dreamfields Spaghetti, Linguine,
or Angel
Hair added near the end of cooking does the trick. Like
in our newest recipe for Asian Pork & Pasta: a colorful
medley of snow peas, bell pepper, and carrots pairs well with marinated
lean pork tenderloin. For an added burst of flavor, drizzle sesame
oil just before serving...a couple of quick tosses and you
are good to go. If you like it spicy, notch up the flavor with
a bit of heat from crushed or whole red chili to create a dish
that’s uniquely yours!
